Our historians are regularly asked to help out with television programmes, notably our very own Dan Shadrake recently working on series 3 of the ‘Britannia’ series, and another of our historians, Ian Weston, working on the set of archaeological documentary, “Raiders of the Lost Past with Janina Ramirez.”
And recently Portals To The Past’s Dan Shadrake and his group Britannia were once again asked to help out on a British TV set. Their task this time around was to dress Al Murray as a gladiator and run about Caerleon Amphitheater this summer.
