We book Portals to the Past every year because of the fantastic value they represent. During the first visit it was apparent that the day was superior to an outside visit in many ways. We gain because; no time (or money) is spent on travelling, the children are actively occupied all day, they are able to enter into the spirit of the day by dressing up, they are able to get all of their questions answered from a reliable source and the weather is never a problem.

The expertise and resouces brought to the school are of museum quality with the added bonus of having these resources to oursleves.
The children fully enter into the spirit of the day and believe that they have a real character from history to themselves for a day. We will contiune to book this value from money experience in the future. Many many thanks for helping to inspire our children with a love of history.
