KS2 HENRY VIII, HIS WIVES AND COURT LIFE WORKSHOP

The day would start with a short talk, involving a display of Tudor weapons and Armour, starting at the battle of Bosworth, why Henry was never expected to be King, Arthur and Katherine, marriage to Katherine and why Henry was a true renaissance prince. First three wives Morning Activities would include-: Second three wives. Wolsey, Cromwell and Thomas More.

Court Hierarchy. The households, household officers.
Why it was important to buy Henry expensive gifts at Christmas. The importance of Will Somers within Henry court. (this can be before lunch if it's a long morning)

Jousting game, Henry’s favourite sport.
